With 12 Bundesliga games left in the 2012-2013 season, Bayern are on course to break a number of records and are still in the mix for three trophies. On Saturday, however, all eyes will be on Heynckes.

The Bayern boss will clock up 1,000 top-flight games at the weekend after 369 as a player for Borussia Monchengladbach and Hannover, as well as 630 as manager of Monchengladbach, Bayern, Eintracht Frankfurt, Schalke and Bayer Leverkusen.

With Heynckes departing in the summer to make way for the arrival of Pep Guardiola, the club are determined to finish the season on a high.

"It is a big obligation but also a major responsibility for the team to ensure we complete the current season under Jupp Heynckes as successfully as possible," Bayern president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said in January. "Now more than ever, we must finish as German champions."

Heynckes has won a record total of 484 Bundesliga games, with 310 coming as a manager. Only Otto Rehhagel with 391 wins and Hennes Weisweiler with 312 can better the Bayern boss' stat from the dugout. It seems certain, however, that Heynckes will overtake his former boss Weisweiler before he the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Bayern look set to rest the likes of Thomas Muller, Toni Kroos, Mario Mandzukic and Javi Martinez for the Bremen match, ahead of the DFB-Pokal clash against Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday.
