Rossi targets April return
Giuseppe Rossi expects to be ready to make his Fiorentina debut sometime in April it was revealed on Monday.

The 26 year old signed for the Viola last month from Villarreal after their relegation to the Spanish Segunda Division last summer but has not played in a competitive match since October 2011 because of a knee ligament injury which has required two separate operations.
Speaking to La Politica nel Pallone however, his representative Federico Pastorello said the player's rehabilitation was going well and that a return to action is growing ever closer.
"He was examined again at the end of January and his knee was judged to be very stable," the agent said. "The work that he is doing in New York is bearing fruit.
"At the end of this month we can hopefully plan his return to Florence and then see him back in action during April."
