Milan was also ousted from last year's competition at the last four stage by the Old Lady but started well Wednesday night and took a sixth-minute lead through Stephan El Shaarawy, although Juventus soon drew level thanks to Sebastian Giovinco's exquisite free kick.
The teams could not be separated after 90 minutes, although it took just five minutes into extra time for Juventus to score what would prove to be the winner, with substitute Vucinic toe-poking past Milan goalkeeper Marco Amelia despite a suspicion of offside.
Juventus will now face Lazio, who beat Catania 3-0 Wednesday night, in a two-legged semifinal clash.
