Lazio striker Tommaso Rocchi will depart the club this week and is expected to link up with Inter Milan in the coming days.
Rocchi, 35, joined Lazio in 2004 from Empoli, and went on to captain the club during his 241 appearances.
Following the team’s training session at the Formello complex, Rocchi announced his exit from Lazio, but refused to give details about his next club.
"(Tuesday was) my last training session here, although there are still some details to tie up before my transfer can be considered complete," he told Lalaziosiamonoi.it.
"I leave Lazio reluctantly. Will I return? Hopefully it will be possible in the future."
The former Italy international scored 105 goals during his time with the Biancocelesti and is tipped to move to Inter by the end of the week.
