Bianchi returns to Boca Juniors
December 17, 2012
BUENOS AIRES, Argentina -- Carlos Bianchi has been named the new coach of Boca Juniors, giving him a third stint in charge of the famous Buenos Aires club.
Club President Daniel Angelici on Monday announced the appointment of Bianchi, who replaces Julio Falcioni. Falcioni resigned a week ago in a move he and the club said was by "mutual consent."
The 63-year-old Bianchi coached Boca in two previous stints -- the last ending in 2004. He won the Copa Libertadores with Boca three times, and another time with fellow Buenos Aires club Velez Sarsfield.
