Although the Brazil Football Confederation has yet to name a successor to national team coach Mano Menezes, president Jose Maria Marin said the new coach will likely be from Brazil.

"I see it very difficult that the new coach is a foreigner," said Marin. "I have the utmost respect for (Pep) Guardiola, but Brazil won five World Cups with Brazilian coaches."

Marin said the confederation has not had talks with any potential coaches and said the new coach will be named during a press conference in January of 2013.
