Shinji Kagawa is set for an extended absence from the Manchester United first-team, Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed.

The Japanese midfielder 23, was ruled out following a knee injury suffered against Braga at Old Trafford on October 23.
Kagawa, who signed for United from Borussia Dortmund this summer was expected to return within a month, but Ferguson says his recovery hasn't gone as planned.
"His progress has been quite slow actually," Ferguson said ahead of Tuesday's Champions League game with Galatasaray.
"He hasn't started any outside work and, looking now, he may be another four weeks away. Overall, he will probably be looking at 6-7 weeks since the injury.
"The first job now is to get him back."
