Adel Taarabt has said he hopes QPR can end their winless Premier League run when they face Arsenal at the Emirates on Saturday.

Taarabt, 23, who has been on the scoresheet in recent Rangers defeats to West Ham and West Brom, said the struggling Londoners could be encouraged by the way they played in Sunday's 1-1 draw at home to 10-man Everton.

Arsenal were defeated at Norwich in their last fixture - against opponents who, until that point, were also without a league win - and the Moroccan attacker feels QPR, who have only three draws to their name so far, could start a revival in North London.

"Arsenal will be a tough game, but we played some good stuff against Everton and we are going there to win," he said.

"We have to keep going and, with a little bit of luck, we'll start to win games.

"When Everton went down to ten men, we thought that was going to help us, but they dropped back and defended and it was very hard for us.

"We should have won it in the last 20 minutes when they went down to ten men. Sometimes we went forward too quickly when we could have kept the ball and played the right pass. But because we wanted to win we went forward too quickly and lost our concentration a little bit.

"At the moment, we don't have the points to show for it, but I'm sure they will soon come - hopefully starting at Arsenal."
