Juan Mata has praised the performances of new Chelsea arrivals Oscar and Eden Hazard.
For all their obvious attacking qualities, the trio came in for particular praise for their defensive work at the weekend in the 2-1 win over Arsenal and, if the Spaniard's comments are anything to go by, they are already developing a good understanding.
More than any other players in the team, the nimble attackers signify the evolution of the European champions.
"I like to play with people like Oscar and Hazard," Mata said.
"They like to play football the same way as me, we understand each other well and hopefully we can do even better. I like to play with the ball, with freedom and to try and get some assists. It's what we are trying to do and we are having some good results.
"The main aim for us is to win, and if we can do that with a good performance it's even better for the team and the supporters."
