Hoarau, who scored five goals last season, has found himself down the pecking order following the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

"It is not easy to train and to see that I'm not in the squad for the weekend, but I have a contract and I must respect it," he told French radio station RMC. "After that, anything can happen. We'll see, but I think this is my last year in Paris.

"However, I am very happy where I am, because everyone wants to come to Paris. This is the club where everyone wants to be - the project is really strong."

He added: "It would be nice if I can win many trophies with Paris this season."

Hoarau said he is also enjoying working at close quarters with Ibrahimovic.

"I'm very happy to train at his side," he said. "It's great to have the opportunity to play alongside such a player. It's scary when he has the ball. Everyone is impressed. It wouldn't surprise me if scored a record number of goals this year."

Hoarau is also facing competition from Kevin Gameiro, Jeremy Menez and Nene, but Carlo Ancelotti insists every player will be given a chance to perform.

"Gameiro, Hoarau and others will have the opportunity to play," the coach said. "I do not know how many games, but they will play. I have to thank these players - I'm sure they are not happy, but they do not show it."

Meanwhile, PSG have said that Thiago Motta will not be available for the game against Sochaux this weekend.

A medical bulletin on their website read: "Thiago Motta has been left to have treatment for his back pain and is already out of Saturday's match against Sochaux."
