Problems are continuing to besiege AC Milan after reports emerged that Massimiliano Allegri became involved in a huge public row with youth team coach Filippo Inzaghi on Thursday.

With Milan having lost two of their opening three Serie A matches and only drawn their opening Champions League fixture against Anderlecht, Allegri has come under serious pressure.

Inzaghi has been touted among the favourites to replace him should the club decide a change is necessary.

It is reported on the front page of all three Italian major sports dailies that there were major tensions between the pair when Allegri visited the Milan youth training facility to watch some of the players train.

He and Inzaghi shook hands but an argument was then said to have ensued, with Allegri apparently accusing Inzaghi of attempting to undermine him while Inzaghi claimed Allegri was not taking his duties seriously enough.

Vice-president Adriano Galliani was quick to dismiss the incident, however, telling La Gazzetta dello Sport: "I have spoken to both Allegri and Inzaghi, who have both played down the incident. As far as I am concerned, the incident never took place."
