Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo concedes he was "surprised" to finish last season as a Champions League and FA Cup winner - but admits the taste of success has left him craving more.

Di Matteo, 42, still smarting from Chelsea's Super Cup humbling against Athletico Madrid in Monaco last week, admits he may need some time to transform a new-look Blues side into trophy winners, but is convinced the good times can continue to roll at Stamford Bridge.
"We had a very surprising and positive ending to the season," he told UEFA.com. "The whole club and the players were magnificent in achieving this result, and we want more of the same in the coming years."
Despite the Champions League success, several of the victorious squad have left Stamford Bridge, with the likes of Didier Drogba, Jose Bosingwa, Michael Essien and Raul Meireles moving on.
"After losing some players in the summer when they came to the end of their contracts, our new players have arrived and give us different qualities," Di Matteo said. "We looked to sign young players who offer us great invention in the attacking third and they should serve the club well in the future.
"What we now have is a good experienced team and some young players who have been added to the squad. They will help drive the success for the future and we want more of what we had last season."
Di Matteo has heaped praise on £32.5 million summer signing Eden Hazard, who has been in sparkling form as Chelsea have recorded a hat-trick of victories at the start of the Premier League season.
"It took some convincing to get Eden to sign for Chelsea as there were other options there for him, so we are happy that he is here with us," Di Matteo said.
"When you consider he is only 21, it may take some time for him to adapt to the Premier League, but he has already settled well here."
