Manchester City will go into the new season as the favorite to win a second straight Barclays Premier League title.
English oddsmakers gave the Blues 13-10 odds to repeat last season's success. Manchester United is next at 2-1, with odds improving after the signing of Robin van Persie.
"United have eventually got their man and we trimmed them from 13-5 to 5-2 when the news came through as it had been known for some time that Old Trafford was his preferred choice, but further support forced another price cut," BetVictor representative Charlie McCann said.
Chelsea will be looking to build on last season's FA Cup and Champions League success, and are 11-2 to claim the Premier League crown, with Arsenal available at 14-1 and Tottenham and Liverpool both quoted at 33-1.
Wayne Rooney and Sergio Aguero are co-favorites at 8-1 to win the Golden Boot as top scorer. Van Persie can be found at 9-1 and Fernando Torres at 10-1.
"The money we've seen suggests Van Persie will fire United to title glory," Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said. "Since the move was confirmed we've had a rush of bets for the Red Devils, with (bettors) also keen to side with him for the Golden Boot."
Reading heads the list of teams being tipped for relegation.
