Roma sign Balzaretti and Piris
Roma coach Zdenek Zeman has continued the reshaping of his squad by signing Italy international left-back Federico Balzaretti from Palermo.

Balzaretti, 30, cost the Giallorossi €4.5 million and has signed a three-year deal. He joined his new team-mates for training on Wednesday.
The defender, who will add some much-needed experience and leadership to a young backline, had originally said he would either remain in Sicily or move to Paris Saint-Germain to be close to his wife, the ballet dancer Eleonora Abbagnato.
The Turin-born player rejected moves to both Napoli and his former club Juventus before opting to make the switch to the Italian capital.
Roma have also announced the arrival of 23-year-old Paraguayan Rodrigo Piris from Deportivo Maldonado, paying an initial €700,000 with an option to make the move permanent for a further €4 million.
As a result of that switch, Spanish full-back Jose Angel is expected to join Benfica on loan.
