Manchester City midfielder Omar Elabdellaoui has joined Feyenoord on a season-long loan deal.

Elabdellaoui, 20, has yet to play for City's senior side but will be hoping to emulate team-mate John Guidetti, who impressed during a spell at De Kuip in 2010-11.
"It's an exciting challenge for me and it gives me the opportunity to play regular first-team football that will obviously benefit me and hopefully City as well in the long-term,'' Elabdellaoui said.
The Norway Under-21 international, whose only involvement with the City first-team thus far was as an unused substitute in a 2010 Europa League game against Juventus, signed a new two-year contract with City earlier this year.
