Maxi Rodriguez, 31, will leave Liverpool on a free transfer following the expiry of his contract earlier this summer, having spent two and a half years at the club.
The Argentine international was an important figure in the early days of Kenny Dalglish's reign as manager at Anfield, but fell out of favour last season to become a peripheral figure at the club.
Nevertheless, Rodriguez's record at Liverpool was good, scoring 17 goals in 73 appearances. He now rejoins the club with who he spent his formative years as a footballer.
