Montpellier midfielder Younes Belhanda will ignore interest from the Premier League to sign a new extended contract at the Stade de la Mosson.
Belhanda, 22, was pivotal to Montpellier's title success in Ligue 1 last campaign, scoring 12 times in 28 appearances as La Palliade pulled off a shock triumph.
Arsenal and Newcastle are among the sides to have been linked with a move for the Moroccan in recent times, but without significant progress.
He will now sign a new deal in the coming weeks after discussions with club chairman Louis Nicollin on Wednesday.
Earlier this week, Belhanda had confirmed to Montpellier fans that he would not leave the side this summer ahead of their debut Champions League campaign.
"I wanted to share with you my choice to continue the adventure with my friends at MHSC this season," Belhanda said. "I really want to play Champions League club with my coach and I am very happy to defend our colours this year."
Belhanda and Morocco team-mate Adel Taarabt were surprising omissions as manager Pim Verbeek named his 18-man squad for the Olympic Games in London this summer.
