Montpellier have secured the signature of winger Anthony Mounier from Nice on a four-year contract.

Mounier, 24, will join Montpellier for a reported fee of £2.6 million, following interest from St Etienne and his former side Lyon.

The Frenchman signed for Nice from Lyon in 2009 and went on to make 94 league appearances for the club, scoring 13 goals.

Montpellier were crowned Ligue 1 champions last season but recently confirmed they have sold star striker Olivier Giroud to Arsenal.
