Fleetwood handed Forest test
The draw for the first round of the Capital One Cup has been made and Football League newcomers Fleetwood Town have been handed a home tie with Nottingham Forest.
Fleetwood will make their debut in the League Cup after achieving promotion from the Conference to League Two in the 2011-12 season, and Forest await them in the first round of the competition.
Elsewhere, Wolverhampton Wanderers, who are the highest ranked side in the first round having been relegated from the Premier League last term, have a home tie against Aldershot Town - who reached the fourth round last season, where they lost 3-0 to Manchester United.
The fixtures are to be played the week commencing August 13, 2012; however, if mutually agreed, the League will consider requests to play on August 11 or August 12.
