Real Madrid legend Pahino has died at the age of 89.
Madrid confirmed on their official website that he had died at his home on Tuesday morning in the Spanish capital.
Pahino scored 108 league goals in 124 matches for Madrid between 1948 and 1953, and also scored three times in three international appearances for the Spanish national team.
He won the Pichichi award with 20 goals in 22 games for Celta Vigo in the 1947-48 season and was top scorer in the country again in 1951-52, netting 28 goals in 27 games for Madrid.
After leaving Madrid, he played for Deportivo La Coruna and Granada before retiring in 1957.
