Zenit St Petersburg manager Luciano Spalletti insists he has no intention of returning to Italy because of the lack of job security that a position in Serie A currently affords.

Spalletti, 53, recently won his second successive league title with Zenit, and his impressive record in Russia has seen him regularly linked with a move back to his homeland.

However, the former Roma and Udinese boss, who has been in the Zenit hotseat since 2009, believes that Serie A's sack culture - there have been 29 managerial changes since the end of last season - makes the Italian league an unattractive proposition.

"No, in Italy there is too much pressure," Spalletti told La Repubblica newspaper when asked if he would consider a return.

"I am too old to come back there and see almost everyone get sacked. Unless there is a huge surprise, I am very happy here."
