Ihemelu snatches late winner

Ugo Ihemelu headed in the winner five minutes into injury time as FC Dallas snatched a 1-0 victory over the New England Revolution in Texas.

The big defender got up to head a free-kick back across the face of goal with time all but up.

Dallas thought they had scored the opening in the 77th minute when Matt Hedges headed in from a corner, but the assistant signalled the cross had curled out of play.

Dallas' second win of the season powers them away from the foot of the Western Conference into fifth place, the same position New England occupies in the East.
