Genoa have sacked coach Pasquale Marino in the wake of Sunday's 5-4 defeat at Inter Milan and put the reins back in the hands of former boss Alberto Malesani.

Marino had only been appointed on December 22, shortly after Malesani's dismissal following a demoralising 6-1 loss at Napoli.
A statement from Genoa read: "Genoa announces it has recalled Alberto Malesani to guide the team.
"The club wishes to thank coach Pasquale Marino, who has been released from his role, for the work done."
Malesani, having been sacked with the team in tenth spot, inherits a side that is now languishing in 16th spot, six points clear of the relegation zone with eight Serie A games remaining.
Genoa have not won a game since February 5 and have taken just four points since then.
Malesani's first game back in charge will be at relegation-strugglers Novara on Saturday.
