• Sigurdsson keen to extend stay

Sigurdsson, 22, is currently on loan at Swansea City and has impressed since making the switch to the Liberty Stadium in January, scoring five goals in nine Premier League appearances.

The midfielder has indicated he would be open to prolonging his stay with the Welsh club, and now Hoffenheim have stated they would allow him to leave in the summer, having signed Sigurdsson from Reading in 2010.

Hoffenheim sporting director Ernst Tanner said in the Daily Star: "We have had no offers. But if someone sends something and it is in agreement with the player maybe it will be of interest. At this moment it is the wrong time for an offer."
