Taiwo keen on permanent QPR deal
Taye Taiwo is eager to turn his loan stay at Queens Park Rangers into a permanent deal, and has claimed that the Premier League outfit is keen to acquire his services on a long-term basis.
The defender joined Mark Hughes' side on loan for the rest of the season from AC Milan during the January transfer window, and despite having been at Loftus Road for little more than two weeks is already talking about remaining beyond the end of the agreed deal.
"The fans didn't believe in me in Italy but I'm happy here and QPR want to sign me on a permanent basis," said Taiwo, who did admit that any chance of a permanent move would depend on what plans Rossoneri boss Massimiliano Allegri had in mind.
"I'd like to stay at QPR because I'm happy. However, it depends on what my coach in Italy wants to do. My family and my friends think this could be the best solution for my future."
Nigeria international Taiwo joined Milan from Marseille last summer but struggled to break into the starting XI, making just eight appearances for the club prior to his switch to QPR.
