Knight backs Ngog to find scoring touch
Bolton defender Zat Knight believes it is only a matter of time before team-mate David Ngog comes good, after the Frenchman endured a profligate first half a season at the club.
Ngog, 22, has failed to impress since Owen Coyle brought him to the Reebok Stadium from Liverpool on transfer deadline day last August - scoring just one goal in 16 games for the Trotters.
However, the former France Under-21 international has been restored to the side recently and Knight says he has seen enough in training to suggest Ngog will be firing on all cylinders - and firing in a first goal since October - soon.
"I see the strikers every day in training,'' Knight told Bolton's official website. "They will get us goals because they are quality players. David has come in and has all the attributes to be a top-class striker for us.
"He's quick, strong and has great technique. Hopefully once he gets one then the goals will start flowing for him because he has looked sharp on the training ground.''
Bolton desperately need Ngog, or any of their strikers for that matter, to start finding the back of the net as the Trotters have scored just four goals in their last seven games and currently sit bottom of the Premier League table.
