Barcelona midfielder Xavi has stressed that the Spanish champions are not unbeatable as next month's Club World Cup in Japan draws closer.

Barcelona meet either Esperance or Al Sadd in the semi-finals on December 15 and could then take on Neymar and Brazilian giants Santos in the final. However, Xavi has played down expectations for his side.

"We can't think about the final yet. We're not unbeatable,'' Xavi told the FIFA website. ''This doesn't exist in the world. Every team causes us problems. We're very excited to be going to the Club World Cup, but we need to know which teams will compete in the final before we discuss it.

"Barcelona-Santos would be interesting. We know about Neymar, Ganso and many other talented players. But for now the match is only hypothetical."

The midfielder then went on to express his admiration for Brazilian players such as Romario, Ronaldo and Rivaldo.

"I've always been inspired by Brazilians,'' he said. ''Principally those who have played for Barcelona, like Romario, Ronaldo and Rivaldo, who I played alongside. Brazilian football has always been an example for everybody."
