Galatasaray have confirmed they are keeping tabs on Dimitar Berbatov's situation at Manchester United.
Berbatov has suffered a dramatic slide in fortunes, having gone from star man for much of last season to bit-part player under Sir Alex Ferguson.
Berbatov's blistering form for a chunk of last season saw him crowned the Premier League's top scorer - along with Manchester City's Carlos Tevez - but he is now fourth in the United striking pecking order.
Galatasaray have been credited with an interest and the Turkish club's president Unal Aysal has confirmed the Bulgarian is on a list of targets.
"We're not just looking at Berbatov, we're interested in a number of players," he is quoted as saying in the Daily Mail. "We can only get in contact and decide at the end of December, when the time comes."
Berbatov has scored just one goal this season, against Aldershot in the Carling Cup.
