Zlatan agent expects five more years
Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent has allayed suggestions the AC Milan striker could be on the verge of retirement, insisting he will play on for another five years.
Ibrahimovic, 30, stated on Wednesday he is enjoying football less and less while he intends to call an end to his career when he is at the top of his game, sparking claims that his playing days could be numbered.
However, the Sweden international's representative, Mino Raiola, has told Gazzetta dello Sport. "Milan can be calm. He was just upset with last weekend's defeat against Juventus, but he will return to be the real Ibrahimovic in a couple of days.
"I spoke to him yesterday and he isn't as down as some of his words would suggest. It's evident that he doesn't have the same motivation as he had three years ago, but he will play on until he's 35. I don't know if he'll stay at Milan for another five years, as that depends on the club."
The former Ajax, Juventus and Barcelona star is under contract with the Rossoneri until June 2015. Injuries have limited Ibrahimovic to just two league appearances this season, including last weekend's 2-0 defeat at Juventus.
