Lorient edged an entertaining tussle to beat Guingamp in extra-time and seal a fourth-round spot in the Coupe de la Ligue.
The Ligue 1 side twice trailed through Alharbi El Jadeyaoui (11) and Charly Charrier (30) but Antony Knockaert's own goal after 28 minutes levelled the first time and Jeremie Aliadiere equalised seven minutes from time.
The former Arsenal striker, on from the bench, then won it for the visitors in the 113th minute.
In Tuesday''s other third-round match Omar Kossoko helped Auxerre through as his 74th minute strike saw them beat Nancy 2-1.
Anthony Le Tallec had put Auxerre in front only for Samba Diakite to level quickly. However, Kossoko scored the decider and Diakite was sent off 10 minutes from time.
