QPR boss Neil Warnock has poured cold water on suggestions his club are planning a swoop for Tottenham Hotspur striker Peter Crouch.

Crouch, 30, found himself on the periphery at Spurs last season, starting just over half their Premier League games, and may fall further down the pecking order as boss Harry Redknapp is in the market for a striker.
With Redknapp under pressure to generate funds before attempting to sign a top striker, Tottenham are thought to be receptive to bids for Crouch, who spent one season at Loftus Road in 2000.
While Stoke are reportedly weighing up an offer for the England international, Warnock has revealed that QPR will not be following suit.
"If Crouchy wants to fit into the QPR wage structure, I'd welcome with open arms," he told the Fulham Chronicle, "but something tells me that isn't going to happen."
Though a move this summer appears impossible, Crouch has revealed he would be open to returning to QPR before he hangs up his boots.
"I've got a lot of affection for the club, and loved playing down there when I was young," he said. "I certainly wouldn't rule out ever playing for QPR again."
He added: "They deserved to win the Championship but with the level in the Premier League they will have to buy a few players and hope some of those players who got them up adapt quickly.
"It's so difficult because every year the teams who come up are expected to go down. Hopefully they do it. They've got good resources and can hopefully add to the squad they've got."
