Kaiserslautern have confirmed the signing of Greece Under-21 international Konstantinos Fortounis for an undisclosed fee.
The 18-year-old attacking midfielder, who has joined from Greek outfit Asteras Tripolis, has put pen to paper on a four-year deal.
Fortounis scored one goal in 24 Super League appearances for Asteras and Kaiserslautern chief executive Stefan Kuntz believes the new signing has a great future in the game.
"Konstantinos Fortounis is a very talented attacking player with great potential, and we hope to bring him along further," Kuntz said.
"We're confident that he will achieve the next stage in his development as a player working under head coach Marco Kurz.
"On top of that, we're delighted that he was fully committed to joining FCK, despite the interest of other Bundesliga clubs."
