Man arrested over Cabanas shooting
Mexican police have finally arrested the man wanted for the shooting of Paraguay forward Salvador Cabanas almost a year ago.

The 29-year-old America striker was shot in the head in the public toilets of a Mexico City bar on January 25, 2010 and, although he recovered from the attack, the bullet is still lodged in his brain.
Now police have apprehended the main suspect in the case, Jose Jorge Balderas Garza, nicknamed "JJ", and presented him to the media in the Mexican capital with six others, including a Colombian woman identified as his partner.
Upon his arrest, Balderas Garza accused a security guard, Francisco Jose Barreto, who had been with him, of carrying out the shooting, according to federal anti-drug police chief Ramon Pequeno.
Cabanas had been set to go to the World Cup in South Africa with Paraguay last June after leading the national team through qualifying matches, but doctors have remained cautious over suggestions that he may play again.
