Nice have agreed a deal to take Bordeaux striker David Bellion on loan until the end of the season.
Bellion, 28, had a spell with Nice following his departure from Manchester United in January 2006, scoring 12 goals during his season-and-a-half at Stade Municipal du Ray.
He moved to Bordeaux in 2007 but has struggled to hold down a first-team place and will now get the chance to resurrect his career with his former club, currently managed by Eric Roy.
A statement confirming the deal on the Nice website read: "OGC Nice and Bordeaux have reached an agreement for the loan of David Bellion until the end of the season.''
