Arsenal land Kallstrom
Arsenal have confirmed the deadline day signing of Sweden international Kim Kallstrom on loan.
Kallstrom, 31, passed a medical on Friday before sealing his switch to the Gunners from Russian side Spartak Moscow.
The midfielder, who has over 100 international caps to his name, signed for Spartak from Lyon in 2012 and this season has scored one goal in eight league matches.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger's midfield options have recently been reduced following Mathieu Flamini's red card and Aaron Ramsey's injury setback.
Wenger told the club's official website: "Kim Kallstrom is a hugely-experienced player. He is a midfielder with proven quality at both club and international level. We welcome Kim to Arsenal."
Kallstrom said: "Arsenal is an amazing club with a lot of great players and a coach who has done really well here for a long time.
"I am so pleased to come here to learn as much as possible. I'm here to do my best for Arsenal and to help out the team, so we can achieve good results for the last part of the season."
Before the Friday night deadline, Arsenal loaned forward Park Chu-Young to Championship side Watford.
