Stoke have made an initial enquiry about loaning him until the end of the season, and Aston Villa and West Ham United are also keen, but a Manchester City source has told ESPN FC that Guidetti is also attracting interest from clubs in Spain and Italy.

Inter Milan and Lazio are also reported to be interested, while Fiorentina have been linked with the Sweden under-21 international as a potential replacement for injury victim Giuseppe Rossi.

City manager Manuel Pellegrini recently said he believes a loan is the best option for the player, but he is awaiting the return to full fitness of Sergio Aguero and Stevan Jovetic before finalising the decision and plans to hold discussions with Guidetti in the next few days to assess all the options.

The 21-year-old has not played first-team football since ending his loan with Feyenoord in 2012 because of illness.
