Koscielny received a red card in second-half injury time of France's World Cup playoff first leg, which they lost 2-0, after hitting Ukraine's Olexandr Kucher.

The Arsenal centre-back missed the second leg in Paris, which France won 3-0 to book their place at Brazil next year, although it was uncertain if he would be absent for further matches.

But FIFA has confirmed to AFP that Koscielny served his ban in the second leg, making him available for Les Bleus for the start of next summer's tournament.
