Switzerland Kit: Through the years
Design: Red and white are the national colours of Switzerland and, as would be expected, form the basis of the country's football kit. A predominantly red shirt, with white shorts and red socks has been the chosen design for the majority of the team's history.
Short History: Ever since their first World Cup appearance in 1938, the makeup of the country's football kit has been well established. A long-sleeve red shirt, white shorts are black socks were the choice on that occasion and, while the socks may have changed, the remainder is unaltered to this day. By USA 1994, though, red socks were in place as the team returned to the competition after 28 years, with a white collar and trim adding to the jersey's overall aesthetics.
The greatest kit: Thee 1994 effort, with its floppy white colour and classical design is without doubt the most attractive of the country's World Cup offerings thus far, although the team only reached the competition's last 16.
