European champions Bayern Munich will face the champions of Asia or Africa in the semi-finals of the Club World Cup after the draw was announced on Wednesday.

Bayern, along with Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro, head straight to the final-four of the completion, but have a long wait to find out their identity of their opponent.

The winner of the Asian Champions League final between FC Seoul and Guangzhou Evergrande will face-off against CAF Champions League winners - Coton Sport, Al-Ahly, Orlando Pirates or Espérance – in the quarter-finals to earn a showdown with the German juggernauts.

Meanwhile, Mexican club Monterrey will meet the winner of Moroccan club Raja Casablanca and New Zealand’s Auckland City in the other quarter-final.

The winner of that match will move through to the semi-finals where they will meet Mineiro.
