ESPN FC: Feeling blue over Lukaku?
Romelu Lukaku is looking to prove that Jose Mourinho was wrong to loan him out by scoring more goals than Chelsea's remaining strikers.
Lukaku, 20, enjoyed an impressive season on loan at West Bromwich Albion during 2012-13 as he scored 17 goals for the club.
It was anticipated the Belgium international had done enough to remain at Chelsea for the current campaign under new boss Mourinho, but he was again sent away on a temporary basis as Everton moved for his services.
Lukaku has already scored four league goals this term, whereas Mourinho's remaining forwards -- Fernando Torres, Demba Ba and Samuel Eto'o -- have yet to net in the top flight.
The Belgium international told Het Nieuwsblad: "The coach decides and as a player you have to respect that.
"I chose to leave and it's up to me to prove the coach wrong.
"The only thing I can do is play well and score a lot. And then I think people will say that I'm a good player.
"I want to score more goals than the strikers of Chelsea. We will see at the end of the season who made the best choice."
