Brazil goalkeeper Julio Cesar is set to miss his country's friendly matches against South Korea and Zambia after breaking a finger.

The shot-stopper's club Queens Park Rangers confirmed the injury on their official Twitter account, announcing he will be out for up to two months.

Brazil take on South Korea in Seoul on October 12 before facing Zambia in Beijing three days later, and they will have to make do without their first-choice 'keeper.

Cesar, 34, signed for QPR from Inter Milan in 2012 but has not played under manager Harry Redknapp this season, having been linked with a summer exit that never materialised.
