Cleverley, 24, was part of Sir Alex Ferguson’s title-winning team last season and is eager to add more silverware to his collection this term.

United have won the Premier League 13 times in the last 21 years, meaning many of Cleverley’s more experienced team-mates have experienced success after success, and he hopes to emulate them.

He told Inside United: “Having that first title medal under your belt means a lot. It’s a relief to get the first medal, but it also makes you determined to win more. Experiencing that victory parade is something you want to do again and again and again.

“It was a very special day, which I'll never forget, but I don't just want that to happen once -- I want it to happen many times. We've got that taste now and it makes us even hungrier.”

Cleverley, who came on as a substitute for the last two minutes of England’s draw with Ukraine on Tuesday, has started every game for United this season but is expected to face a challenge for his place after the deadline-day arrival of Marouane Fellaini from Everton.
