Fener hearing dated for Arsenal first leg
Newcastle rejects Arsenal's bid for Cabaye
Fenerbahce's hearing with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) over a two-year ban from European competition will begin on the day of their Champions League third round qualifying first leg with Arsenal.
Turkish side Fenerbahce were initially handed a two-year suspension by UEFA in June for their involvement in domestic match-fixing, but that ruling was overturned on a temporary basis by CAS.
The club's appeal will be heard on August 20, when Arsenal travel to Istanbul, and on August 21, before a verdict is announced on August 28 -- the day after the second leg of the tie.
Arsenal head into the first leg off the back of a surprise 3-1 loss at home to Aston Villa in the Premier League, while Fener were beaten 3-2 by newly promoted Konyaspor.
