Tommy Smyth took the points for a second round in a row at the weekend, so after it looked like we had a real contest for the title he has pulled away again. Is there a way back for Dale Johnson or the Rest of the World?
We have a mini-round this time up with half the Premier League games falling to the FA Cup quarterfinals. Stepping up to the plate is Danny Swain who lives in Auckland in New Zealand.
Danny tells Showdown: "I was born in Preston in England but I now live in Auckland, New Zealand. I am a Manchester City supporter, working in the Liquefied Petroleum Gas equipment industry. I was born in March 1966... and that means I'm 48 next month... but I STILL dream of playing for England!"
For each round of matches we invite someone to represent the Rest of the World and take on ESPN FC TV's Tommy Smyth and ESPN FC journalist Dale Johnson in our predictions game.
Points are then awarded as follows:
- Three points for a correct result and scoreline
- One point for a correct result
After the weekend's scores are in and the Showdown result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total Should the challenger win, the total is added to the Rest of the World tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared.
We want your entries for the next round of games - so get your selections in now!
