Dale Johnson's amazing run continues as he sneaked home ahead of the Rest of the World and Tommy Smyth at the weekend. So after being adrift at the bottom Dale is now starting to open up a gap at the top!
Who is taking up the challenge this weekend? It's William Wu who comes from Perth in Australia.
He says: "Hello, I'm William. I am a massive Man United supporter, aged 17, and I have just finished my last exams in Year 12. My goal is to be a professional stock broker or accountant but my boyhood dream is and will always be work for the Red Devils! GGMU."
For each round of matches we invite someone to represent the Rest of the World and take on ESPN FC TV's Tommy Smyth and ESPN FC journalist Dale Johnson in our predictions game.
Points are then awarded as follows:
- Three points for a correct result and scoreline
- One point for a correct result
After the weekend's scores are in and the Showdown result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total Should the challenger win, the total is added to the Rest of the World tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared.
We want your entries for the first weekend of the season - so get your selections in now!
A storming performance from William, who gets the ROTW back on track with a double figures score.
