John Arne Riise is set to leave Fulham after two years in West London.
Riise, who joined Fulham from Serie A side AS Roma, has been granted a free transfer despite having 12 months remaining on his current deal.
"It looks like I will be parting company with Fulham this summer," Riise told Press Association Sport. "Fortunately there is an agreement for there to be no transfer fee, so let's see what the rest of the transfer window brings."
Kieran Richardson appears to have jumped in front of Riise during the pre-season programme, with Martin Jol deciding to allow the Norway international to leave to free up space on the wage bill.
