Landon Donovan will be on the MLS All-Star team after all.
Major League Soccer announced Friday that the LA Galaxy midfielder has been added to the All-Star team as an injury replacement for teammate Robbie Keane.
Donovan, who missed the first three games of the season while taking time away from soccer, had originally been left off the roster. His inclusion will extend his MLS-record streak to 13 straight All-Star selections.
Keane, the Galaxy's leading scorer, suffered a left hip flexor strain against the Portland Timbers on July 13 and missed last week's win against Vancouver.
Donovan has three goals and six assists in 13 appearances in the league this season. He has five goals and seven assists for the U.S. national team during this month's Gold Cup, which concludes Sunday.
The MLS All-Stars will face Italian side Roma on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
