Blackpool winger Tom Ince has held talks with Cardiff City, according to the Press Association.
Premier League new boys Cardiff had an offer accepted for Ince, who has been linked with a return to Liverpool, at the end of last month.
It is reported the midfielder travelled to Wales on Monday to hold discussions over personal terms with Malky Mackay's side.
Ince, 21, left Liverpool for Blackpool in 2011 and has since impressed at the club, making 77 league appearances and scoring 24 goals.
Earlier on Tuesday, Cardiff confirmed their captain Mark Hudson has signed a contract extension that will keep him with the club until the summer of 2015.
