Brazil and Chelsea defender David Luiz has confirmed he will have surgery on his broken nose after the Confederations Cup.
Luiz, 26, sustained the injury when he collided with team-mate Thiago Silva during Brazil's 2-0 win over Mexico on Wednesday.
Brazil are next in action against Italy on Saturday when they will battle it out to see who finishes top of Group A.
The defender told Chelsea's official website: "Yes, my nose is broken, but that's part of the game. Now I'll have to wait until the end of the competition and undergo surgery to fix it."
Luiz's future at Chelsea has recently been the subject of conjecture after he commented that he had been asking his compatriots about PSG's "project".
