Marseille are considering a move for Arsenal forward Gervinho, the French club's assistant coach Franck Passi has confirmed.
Gervinho, 26, appears headed for an exit from the Emirates Stadium after a disappointing season with the Gunners, capping off what has been a difficult transition into the Premier League since leaving Lille in 2011.
But the Ivory Coast international could soon return to France, with Passi backing him to succeed in a wide role under manager Eli Baup.
"This is a profile that interests us, yes," Passi told Le 10 Sport. "We want flank players with dribbling, passing and scoring and Gervinho has this profile."
